Frenectomy/Epulis Removal

A frenum is a piece of tissue that often connects your lip to your gums or your tongue to your mouth. When this tissue is too tight it may not allow movement of those structures. We may need to remove this attachment to allow the tissue to loosen.

Your dentist may refer you to Dr. Kern to remove excess tissue (epulis) for partials and dentures to fit properly, or for oral health.
